Interski 2007 PyongPong - Demo slope
During the general assembly of Interski International the demo slope (picture for increasing to click) for the next interski congress 2007 was introduced to the participants from 20 countries.
The congress site YongPyong is appropriate for a well-known winter sports region, which applied for delivering the olympic winter plays 2010 in the region PyeongChang, and Vancouver had to leave the precedence.
Yongpyong is in the Balwang mountains on a height of 1458 meters. The first snow falls there already in November and the ski season lasts in some years by April. The area has thereby the longest winter season of the country. Fall on the average in the winter 250 to 300 centimeters. Altogether one finds 29 runways in Yongpyong. The ski drivers can select under numerous hotels and blocks of flats and many Korean restaurants, well know for their excellente quality.
